News & Updates

Looks like we missed last month! Oops, sorry 'bout that. Wow, february is a big month, lots of great stuff going on. We've got the Super Bowl on this Sunday (tomorrow to be exact!) and The Carolina Panthers are going to win (sorry Patriot fans!), also, the new Survivor All Stars starts after that. And of course we can't forget Valentines Day on the 14th!

What's new in NeverLand? I've added a new section to the message board where you can post your praise, comments, and constructive critizism for your favourite NeverLand poet. To all you poets out there, here's your chance to ask what people think about your work.

What's new in the world today? Well I'm sure most of you have heard about (or received) the latest virus (actually I think it's a worm) spreading like wildfire. It's called MyDoom or Novarg depending which virus scanner you use. This one is like the others, it comes in an attachment, if you don't open it you're safe. But the slight twist is it also can come as an e-mail that looks like a bounced e-mail to trick you into opening it. So how do you stay safe? Update your virus scanners immediately. If you don't have a virus scanner you can get one for free, check out the article I wrote awhile back Lady Bane's Guide to Virus Scanners and always remember, don't ever open an attachment unless you are 100% sure you know what it is, who sent it to you and why. If you have any doubt e-mail the person who sent it to you and ask them. Better safe than sorry! If you'd like to find out more about this latest worm, you can read about it on Symantec Security Response along with removal instructions.

A Real Life NeverLand Love Story

This Valentines Day, to all of you single gals who don't think you'll ever find Miss. Right, I'd like to tell you a little story. First of all, I am one of those people who thought I'd never fall in love, who thought love was a big joke really. Who never could see myself wanting to stay with the same person for the rest of my life. And most of all, I never thought anyone could love me. Well everyone who's been to NeverLand knows that it is a magic place. Full of fun, friends and possibilities. I never imagined I'd meet someone I wanted to spend the rest of my life with though. But I did. Four years ago a woman came into our chat room (jjaz) and even though we lived worlds apart we decided that no matter the odds or the costs we had to be together. And we made it happen. Through immigration, border interrogations, in-laws *G*, discrimination, good times and bad, we fall more in love with each other every day. So what's the moral of the story? Never give up on love, and yes miracles do happen!
