When You Came Into My Life

By Lady Bane

When you came into my life
Things would never be the same
I tried to run and hide
I tried to throw the blame

So lost in my angst
I had no room for love
So sunken in despair
Till you raised me above

I loved the drama of it,
I loved the extremes
But you took me from the nightmare
And gave me a new dream

I loved to hate love
And renounced its place in my heart
I built my walls strong
But you blew them apart

You came into my life
It will never be the same
You took a cold, cold heart
And started a flame
