Memories

I've felt pain as deep as a river
I've seen things that would make you shiver
I've heard voices inside of my head
And there were times that I wished I was dead

My memories haunt me so that I can't sleep
And in my dreams monsters creep
Night time is a time of fear
When days long dead suddenly reappear

If only I could scream and shout
Expelling all my demons out
Then I would finally be free
From all the things that are haunting me
