Spider Leo's Lie By Marlies A. Wintersdorf
I wake stumbling through the darkness tryin to get to you.
As I am searching endlessly, I remembered we were through.
Often in my sleep, I forget who you were.
A stranger came, a stranger left
and now you lay with her.
Memories are fading, sometimes way too slow
pictures that I have of you, someone I do not know.
Forgotten and abandoned, left alone to cry.
I really thought you loved me, was everything a lie?
Questions but no answers, the lion ran away.
Cowards have no courage, listen what I say.
the oz he cannot fix her, she's broken from within,
I never built a web of lies, so I never felt trapped in.
*this poem was written about a leo who broke my heart....
