Inside My Head

By insanepiper2002

Wow! Check out those eyes.

I can't look at you. I don't want them to see my curiosity is peaked. I glance up and catch you looking at me. Or are you looking into me? Up goes your menu. Did I frighten you?

Please, please, please don't see me blush; nobody gets to see that. Did anyone see that? No, they're all busy talking about the ceremony site.

Reality check; my holy union ceremony. Mine and the woman with her knee touching mine. I don't want to do this. How do I get out of this?

You are intriguing. You are not what the others described you to be. I want to know more about you. You raise your eyes and now it's my turn to look away. I hope your girlfriend didn't notice.

No, she's in the conversation with the rest of the others. This end of the table seems a separate world.

Can you feel the pull of the elements? Or is it just me? Who are you? I want to reach over and feel your skin. I want to see your strong hands on my flesh.

Oh my, what the hell am I thinking? I don't even know you. What's happening inside of me? I haven't felt a need this strong before.

Saved, the food's here. Focus on your plate. Keep your cool; she doesn't even know you exist. Pay the check. Great, who am I paying for today? Who cares -- everyone is full.
Time to go.

Please don't leave me yet. I want to watch you some more. Try to figure out who you are.

I can't focus on anything but your eyes.
