Is Love a Gift!

It is said, the greatest gift from God
Is love.
The love of a child
The love of a friend
The love of a lover
The love for yourself.
Freedom to follow our dreams
Our hearts.
Freedom to bring joy to others
And to ourselves.
Freedom to forgive
Freedom to choose
Freedom to feel pain.
Is love such a wonderful gift.
As I feel my heart breaking
I doubt it.
As my tears begin to fall
I doubt it.
As loneliness sets in
I doubt it.
I dont wish for this freedom
This pain
This gift called love.
