The Light of Your Love

There was a time when my soul was stranded in the dark with no light and no love, All my actions were in vain. Trying to be someone who i was not Trying to please those who will never please. Hiding myself in the dark, under the sheets.
Untill one day you walked into my life, I was scared, wondering to myself: can I be me?....with her? You pulled back the sheets, encouraged me to see the candles flickering against the dark, slowly we became closer, The flame got bigger and brighter, and as the flame grew in brightness we grew closer everyday. Now with you I am me, your love runs through my veins and ignites my heart, my soul has been released from the dark and is dancing in the light of your love.
