Feminist

It's your fault..you started the fight
You don't approve of the fact that I'm interested in my rights
You're a women too, how could you say you don't care?
You let men walk all over you, you're left alone cold and bare
Damn right I'm a feminist...I care about women today
When I told you what I thought , you didn't listen to what I had to say
You just said men are better Lauren, you realize that someday
Men aren't better, your wrong, you think I feel this just because I'm gay
But I know women who agree with me and they're straight
You don't listen to me..everything I say you hate
Hear me out..listen please
Do I have to beg, get on my knees?
I say I don't care that you don't approve, but I do You say shit without realizing what the hell I have to go through
It's hard enough being a women in a mans world, don't you see?
Being a lesbian makes it harder..I'm struggling just to be me
You shouldn't have to struggle to be who you are
You should be able to be yourself, shine like a star
How many more fights until you see?
I'm a lesbian, a feminist, but most importantly I'm just me.
