On new years eve
when nothing seemed
To fit my state of mind
Your heart opened up
and sat down next to mine
You told me secrets
of your past, present
and of things to come
As the tears cascaded
down the face I love
You stood up
and smiled down at me
Then offered your hand
Something lead me
to believe you
So I took your hand
In that moment I felt so lucky
To have found someone
Someone like you J.
