Tattoo

To bear upon my flesh,
All that is known to the soul,
To hold within my heart,
All that makes me whole.

To have my Destiny at last,
To find her so very sweet,
Knowing that for eternity,
Her love is mine to keep.

To see upon my flesh,
The mark of her name,
The outward proclamation,
Of love that is attained.

A promise made forever,
Sealed in the heaven's blue,
Shall rise my every desire,
Seeing it, I see you.

And each time my fingers linger,
Or trace the perfect outline,
I will know within my soul,
That YOU are forever mine.
