Tears of the Past

The pain in her eye's, the scars that never go away. The nights that last forever, tears cried alone in the dark. Memories of her horrible past, thoughts that never seem to fade away. Everthing holding her back, shadows blocking out the light.

Her mind and body now numb to any sort of emotion, in the dark is where she lays. Trying so hard to cry it all away, but yet it all still remains. Many reach for her but only to fail, without even the slightest touch. Lost in her own little world she never seemed to realize that all along she was better then it all.

She had never understood, never realized how she changed me. How she came when everything felt so wrong. She was a whole new light, the star of my nights. I only prayed that one day I could help, that one day I could make her notice all that was good in her. That I could one day shed away her pain of the past.
