why, my only,
do you look past me so?
I have loved you,
and taken the beatings
of people's fear of us.
I have defended you,
protected you.
but there you are;
strong,
handsome,
unbending,
unyielding,
unavailable for them,
for me.
you keep pushing me away.

just love me!
I have risked so much for you!
I cannot love you more,
I dare not love you less.
standing on the edge,
only your hand can save me.
only your eyes can grab me.

your womanness warms me,
your masculinity comforts me.
you are all I want,
all I nerver knew,
I always wanted.
