i dreamed of you this morning
come to me, starlit soul
whispered things confused in dreams and,
soft light's wakening...
i loved you then
and now
thru yawns and body's plaintive need
in sadness i saw you drift
away
in a new dawn's complicity
closed my eyes and dreamed
of you
more
starlit soul of mine
i am yours
do not leave
me
take me there
