Song of Silence

By Judith Christopher

Blonde, soft and young is she,
This woman who stands in front of me.
Whose love is constant, unyielding and pure.
Whose heart is ever yearning and sure.

The sweetest eyes I've ever seen
Reflect back love through shades of green.
Deep-rooted love of passion born,
Produces a heart that can weather all storms.

The song of silence fills the air
With pounding breasts that must be shared.
What lies beyond the darkness of night?
Once broken wings prepare for flight.

The whisper of love although unspoken
Is louder than words, but merely a token
Of anticipated pleasures, so bitter sweet.
Of love to savor, and deliciously drink!
