Broken Hearted

I'm falling apart with a broken heart
nobody knows it but me.
Trying to hide is the hardest part
I don't want people to see.
All the lies I have to tell
to hide what I really feel
to hide the fact that I'm in hell,
living with the devils deal.
I know the pain will fade somehow
and the sun might shine
I just don't want to ache right now
I want things to be fine.
I can only shed so many tears
and fake laughter for so long
sooner or later I have to face my fears
especially now she's gone
The only thing left now is hope,
for what is yet to be seen.
I think I'm strong enough to cope,
knowing there's darker places that I've been.
