Letting Go!

Once I missed your warm embrace, but now all I see is another pretty face.

I wondered if you would come back to me, not knowing, but now I see, you were not the one for me.

I am happy now, and I hope that you are too.
Nothing personal but, who are you?

I used to know your thoughts and fears, and now your gone, but no more tears.

I still sit and think about things we used to share, not as often, for time is to spare.

I have let go of all of those things, but you will always have a place that happiness brings!

I have new love now, and she is all I need, to make my life complete and plant new seeds!

No no more crying, no more asking why, now I have my answers and all I do is fly!

This poem is written to my ex-girlfriend who left with no explanation, we never talk anymore, and I just wanted her to know that I have let go!
