My Darling Billie Dee

We loved before but I can't remember when.
Don't even know if we were women or men.
My love for you came quickly to my heart.
A love that was quite special from the very start.

When we met the attraction was like never before,
Never thinking you'd be the one I'd soon adore.
We were both committed to others at the time,
So loving you was the farthest from my mind.

Our lives soon changed & we were both set free,
And you, for some strange reason, contacted me.
Then that day I saw you, I took the risk
And for some reason, I gave you a kiss.

That was the start of a never ending love,
Which I truly believe was sent from above.
I thank Him each and every single day,
For sending me you; who's fantastic in every way.

Isn't it mysterious how it all fell in to place?
Our first meeting, I feel was certainly God's grace.
He had planned on us to love once more
As we must have a long time before.

My love and passion will always be alive,
For without you, my love; I couldn't survive.
Marry me and wear my symbol of love
That is witnessed by the Almighty above.
