Lost

By Linz

I am a child at the fairground, who's lost grip of her mothers hand
I am lost in a dark alley and I don't know the way home
I am a lone ant, trying to build a palace
I am a lovebird without my lover
A humming bird without the hum
It's my silver wedding anniversary and I just lost my wedding ring.
I am a violin without the bow
A lace without the trainer
I am the stem without the rose
I am a stripper with my clothes on, a skint prostitute

I hope I find my mother
I want to find my way
I hope I find my friends and lover
I wish my hum would return.
I want to find my wedding ring and my bow so I can be played
I hope I find my trainer and my pretty red rose
I want to find my clothes.
