To Love Another Woman

By tracylyn

Butterflies flap their wings,
Inside my stomach,
A shy but knowing, mischievous grin
Plays upon my lips
For it's wonderful again,
To wonder what it would be like, to be able,
To kiss, to love, to confide,to find love in, to hold, another woman again.
It's much more than the lovemaking,
That gives my heart a new song to sing,
It's the woman2woman friendship, the close relating, the intimate talks, the intimacy emotionally...
That can be just as pleasurable, as the thrilling chill, that goes thru my lover's body, when I caress her tenderly.
To be a woman in love,
To be able to love another woman freely,
Is my destiny,
For only when I am in a woman's embrace, can my spirit feel free,
The glances from across the room, the acknowledgment, the acceptance, the love, given silently,
Only from a woman, do any of these things mean something real to me.
She still has yet to materialize,
The woman of my heart,
The goddess of my dreams,
The venus of my soul...
But when she does appear, I will know..
For all I will have to do is look into her beautiful sparkling eyes...
And I will be home.
