The Love Of An Angel

The feeling of her hand upon mine,
her voice echoing throught my mind,
Falling so deeply into something I once feared.
Before I could turn away,
My walls came tumbling to a pile of rubble,
This angel of my dreams was now my reality.
My every moment with her,
My every thought of her,
Brought a smile to my face;
And a warmth to my heart.
Just knowing she was near made each day worth while;
But as quickly as my angel appeared,
she dissapeared.
As days go by my life before her I try to regain,
But my thoughts of her/us always remain.
Although she done me wrong,
I miss the times we shared, and the love I'd developed for her.
If only I could hold her in my arms once more.
Feel her breath upon my skin.
Her happiness is all I wish, and although I may act strong, still to this day and for always I will love her.
