I Wish I Could Say

I wish that I could say that what we had
I could just give it all back
but I cant just to make you see
hear and learn that it's a fact
I can still remember the visions
of every glance and every touch
the way that you would make me feel
given the vibe to fall in love so much
the way that you could fill every hole
inside of my dark and cold soul
you made it brighten everyday
this is something that you should know
fading all of the black it's beginning to gray
healing my mind's wounds with what you had to say
even when it got confusing you could relate
I loved you like my own inner child
I had loved you so much
I would grasp every moment you smiled
still you have no clue to what you had
now that my love was put in denial
you just could see us together running wild
see when I was chasing I was glad
but now I'm just sad and it's making me mad
but I wouldn't never go back
