Two Tainted Souls

Two tainted souls whose paths intertwined,
Unbridled passion you are an obsession of mine
One thoughtless moment how could I let you down?
An unintentional act now you are nowhere around

What do we do? Where do we go from here?
Losing your love is a significant fear
So if this is over and you don't want me again
I lose not only my lover but also my friend.

It's what you wanted, isn't that what you said
Or was I just creating this play in my head
A wonderful kiss your response was sincere
It must be this love and not me that you fear
