All Aside Christmas is Near

I wish Christmas was a holiday this year I could dismiss
come back when I am happy and can celebrate it with 100% joy
Then I think Christmas is a time to put all aside
All heartbreak and tears aside
Celebrate the Birth of Christ
If not for him the beauty we see may not be here
If not for him love may of never been
So much we have to celebrate this time of year
Christmas is not about a new toy or gadget
A time to remind us to rejoice in joy
Forget old wounds and celebrate
Not putting up the tree this year and buying my true love gifts
I am thankful for still having a family and friends
Heartache can wait but it is time to celebrate
It is hard but possible
It is one Birthday we cannot ignore
Christmas is nearly here
The exact day of the Christ childbirth
never known
amazing
But for the chosen day of Christmas
Let us be joyful
