Another Day Has Broken

Another day has broken
The sun begins to rise
The first thing I look into
Are my beautiful baby's eyes

So why do I feel nothing
Except loneliness and despair
That the whole world is against me
And no one seems to care

As I begin to face the day
My eyes they shed a tear
My head is whirling round and round
It's filled with pain and fear

Then my baby begins to cry
Just begging me for love
I close my eyes and bow my head
And pray to god above

I need his strength to help me through
These feeling I have of guilt
And help me climb that high brick wall
I have around me built

I know that deep inside me
I have a lot of love to give
But at this very moment
It takes all my will to live

I feel that I can't carry on
Just living day by day
My world is full of darkness
And it seem I have lost my way

The people all around me just
Smile and pass me by
I just wish they'd take my hand
And hold me while I cry

Then the day is closes
The night time starts to fall
And I hope that when tomorrow comes
It's the day I climb that wall
