This is for you... you are still my first waking thought.

Where are you?
My stomach turns to knots
My eyes well up with fear
Where are you?
I need you right now
I need you to hide me, and hold me and care
I need you to be with me
And console me
Your gentle hands to dry my tear
Where are you?
Please baby don't just walk away
Don't say you despise me
Hate me and deride me
And push me away
Don't pretend to ignore me
Throw away your soft feelings for me
And scorn upon me from above
Down to here.
Where are you?
You said you would stay by my side
And I hoped I could trust you
And look up to you, and confide
But now as I'm screaming
I'm just hoping you hadn't lied
Like all the other people
Who were once by my side.

I'm getting desperate to see your face
To hear your comforting words
To stop crying in your embrace
But I can't see you
And it's too dark to know if you're watching me
I'm guessing I'm alone here
I'm guessing that's something I can guarantee.
