Any kind of shower

By shel

Thunder won't be making everything crash around me anymore,
leaving me hurt and laying on the floor.
As I rise above and learn to weather the storm,
though outside it's cold in my heart it's warm.

Showers no longer rain on this parade,
as like me pain with my inner warmth they fade.
Not threatening to dampen this heart-shaped world of mine,
as in my heart I know I'm going to be fine.

Innocent flakes won't snow me under,
nor leave me alone to wonder.
Whether to cope I'm strong enough,
for I know deep down I can be tough.

Gale force winds won't succeed to take the breath from me,
as I know now that I've found the key.
To keep me strong in all kinds of weather,
simply by loving me is keeping me together.

Hailstones won't leave me blind,
as my inner strength and love start to bind.
Leaving me without a doubt,
whatever the weather I'll find my own way out.

Of the adversities life throws my way,
I'm ready to see a brighter day.
For I know I possess the willpower,
to make it through ANY KIND OF SHOWER!!!
