Alone

In the darkness of my sadness burns my apathy
Creating a madness fueling my insanity
God tore you away from me
Bringing me down to one knee
Stealing like a thief in the night
Not leaving me with any reason to go on in this life
My hearts been replaced with a deep black hole
I will wonder this world with no place to call home
Be still my anger and bring calm to my pain
There is no one here to place with all the blame
There is a plan to bring about a change
But in this plan I fear I don't have a place
Once before me there stood all of my dreams
Unfolding coming true towards reality
I asked you to prove everything
To prove the love in your words had true meaning
You turned your back to me
On our life, our love, our destiny
Not every path that crosses
Is meant to be
