Loves Sweet Embrace

Imagine my hands holding you,
my body close and warm;
holding you tight and safe and coocooned,
until the light of dawn.

Your head resting against me,
all the night long,
heaven together, bodies attuned,
so sweet in evensong.

To hold close in comfort
in loving caress,
to touch the softest of touches,
pure lightness.

To smile and behold a smile,
eyes loving in tenderness,
to love together,
now and forever,
emotionally breathless....
