Torn

My heart goes wary
When my mind keeps racing
Torn from these emotions
That I never could understand

Why did you came back to my life
Giving breathe back to the feelings
That I've long burried
With your departure

You asked if we could be together
When my life was so stale and hopeless
When hatred is still in my soul
Yet I still want you close

You gave word that you'll not leave
Assurance you gave that you'll stay close
But you left and you gave me up
Which is why I never trust

And you left without a goodbye to somewhere far

Life went on as I recover my own wounds alone
Thoughts of you I still have
Times that we share I still miss
The days that we laugh and the things we did

Someone new came into my life
At the speed of light we got close and our lives crossed
I came to love and cherish this someone
And my word I gave I'd pledge myself to

This someone I love and am commited to
But uncertainties arised that if I'm loved back
Though words given that someone care for me
But its only mere words that this someone showed

Though this someone I loved, but thoughts of you still remained
Yet you came back again dancing into my life
Though with only words and voice is your only presence
But yet you still impacts me one way or another

Why did you come back to confuse me
When you have left and abandon the times we had
You never held on or wait for me
You turned and you walked away when I needed time

Do i care for you?
Even if I do, but theres someone I care for too
Do i miss you?
Even if I do, theres someone I miss as much too
Do i want to be with you?
...

No matter what the answer is, I'm already commited to someone
And I never want to hurt this someone
I love and cherish this someone
Yet I still want to remain you close to me
Could I?

Torn between you and someone..I wish I could just walk away.
