Erinn,

She opens the door
Inside a sacred place
In me
She tells me that
It's o.k., I'm safe
And I feel her
Her words settle me
And I begin to
Want her
To be in me
She kisses away
The fears the
Others left on my mind
She caresses my
Soul with her
Understanding eyes
I imagined this
To go wrong in
Every single way
Tore it apart
And threw it away
Only to keep on
Learning my
Mistakes
And being forgiven
For all my rage.
Now it's morning
And I haven't much
Slept -
And she's in bed
Dreaming
Of all we had said
She's a musician
A poet, my lover true
We blend ourselves
Perfectly together
And this feeling
We create anew
Is something
I refuse to
Escape,
I want to
Be with
You.
