Goobye to the straight life!

Good-bye to this life
so trapped and unfree
I really must admit
you had a hold on me

I would stay around longer
but i could never be me
so let go of the woman
who screams to be free

Good-bye to the lies, stress and the pain
Good-bye to the "world on my shoulders" restrain

I could have stayed around longer
and pretended with you
but then I would hurt her
and make my promises untrue

I promised to be with her
to love her with feelings bared
& if she gained weight; I would always be there

To respect her privacy
& keep our business at home
To hug her long and tight
so she would never feel alone

I'd rather die a thousand deaths
than have her leave me
So goodbye to you life
You no longer have a hold on me!
