Cold

I feel my heart
slowly turning cold
These thoughts about her
are starting to get old
I need to move on
I'm getting no where
This pain is becoming
too much to bear

I'm starting to care less
of what happens next
I should open the bible
and read from it's text

but there's anger inside
I care not to read
I know that it's words
are all I should heed

Father you understand
these emotions I feel
life for me now
is becoming more real

I wish to spend time
with her
she barely
has some

I'm wishing
more than she is
I guess
I'm just dumb

she's in bed sleeping
and here I am weeping

has her heart already turned cold?
