As the light seeps into the sky
With the unstoppable passing minutes
You shift your weight
And I catch your hand as you moan

Contented, wrapping around you like a blanket
I'm filled with dread
All I've ever wanted is to be
In this warm place where you are

Now I'm here, resting in the hollow of your back
I feel the certain chill that this will end
One day this will be a memory
At whatever end
