Monster

You said you loved me
But I was a lie
You said we would be together
Till the day we die

You took everything from me
Now I'm left with nothing but pain
I never knew this is how it would be
Now I will never be the same

You sucked every bit of goodness
Inside of me
You drained every part of my body
Ill never be free

You are like a vampire
Sucking every last bit of life from me
You are nothing but a liar
You should have set me free

But instead you waited till I was only yours
You waited til I was hooked
Til I couldn't live without you
Details shouldn't be over looked

How could you turn into such a demon
I never saw it coming
And now that you have finally done this
The tears just won't stop running.

* this poem was written about my girlfriend of 1 year who one day out of the blue decided she couldnt be with me.
