Entwined in dreams

Subconscious betrays me tonight,
as I fail to get you out of my sight.
Your sweet ways pulling me nearer to you,
not ready to succumb as not sure you feel it too?

My mind begins to wonder,
when it was your spell I fell under?
I try to make sense of when I fell for your ways,
but just like your words it leaves me in a daze.

This heart I feel reach out and touch,
the one whom it adores so much.
Finding it hard to believe,
that for you I wear it upon my sleeve.

A once lonely soul,
is now more than ready to fall.
Just say the word and fall will I,
no more am I scared to try.

Broken wings that have been mended,
from the countless times to my heart you tended.
Now long to embrace you as we soar so high,
for you are the reason I can fly.

Visions of us I see in and out of sleep,
each image in my heart safely I'll keep.
For now I guess I'll hide this face for you that beams,
as I know in my heart we are ENTWINED IN DREAMS!!
