Her scent lingers By shel
Inhaling her pillow,
I smell the scent that by heart I know.
Running my fingertips down the length of her spine,
embracing this sweet angel of mine.
Breathing her in,
as we're now skin on skin.
Entwining my long legs around her tight,
so close now my side of the bed's out of sight.
Catching her grin,
as my gentle kisses warm her skin.
Each one sweeter than the one before,
I whisper so softly, "you I adore".
Smiles for me,
that last night in slumber I did see.
Not one of them is the same,
every one unique so in my mind I frame.
Loving her scent,
that for this sweet one was meant.
As in the blink of an eye,
we merge from her and I.
Beating as one,
as all loneliness is gone.
As we dream together entwined are our fingers,
I cannot stop smiling as all over me HER SCENT LINGERS!!!
