Lesbian Poetry

a GIANT coloring book

By Sonya Anthony

There's a peace blackout and everyone's confused.
We are America right?
Red. White.
Blue.
The used. The Bruised.
The people who created the Blues.
We are Right?
Right?
Every time we're caught in an International
Fight.
Every time we claim to be fighting for
Human Rights?
For children to grow old
And sleep peacefully through the night.
For women to be educated,
Join the work force
And waste their lives.
We are America Right?
Taking control of colonial power
And putting Democracy in the
PEOPLES
Hands.
Le it be known that
America
Fights for Human Rights.

The more you fight
The easier it is
To redirect your people
From the human rights violations
That America keeps hid.
"It's in the Past." Is the answer you'll receive?
When you ask generationally elected politicians
If they have ever grieved
For the slave whose daughter was repeatedly raped
By some white plantation owner
Whose right it was to put over her face.
Or for the young runaway
Who risked his whole family so they could be
FREE.
Has America admitted to hanging thousands
From sycamore trees?
Or the Chinese and the Mexicans
America wealth was created by the spilt blood
Of Immigrants.
Indentured Servants.
Slaves, caught away from their tribes.
American Women
Pumped full of pharmaceuticals preparing them
Not To Cry.

ALL YOU MOTHERF-CKERS
LIE!!!

The Red. The White.
The Blue Blooded Bi-ch.
Who snuck in, f*cked my mom
And enslaved her kids.
Will not be Missed once the dinosaurs
DIE
And REVOLUTION
LIVES.
