News and Updates - 2001

• Christmas is over for another year, so I took down neverland's x-mas tree
• Put up the new Happy New Year graphic to help ease into the next holiday

• Took down the message board because of annoying pop-up ads and also the fact that nobody ever used it
• Added a new section called Musings which is just some thoughts about all things. Take a look at it and let me know what you think

• Removed the "subscribe to Tropica" thing on the right panel
• added a new e-card capabilities with the help of Bravenet. I put a small but nice selection of lesbian and Christmas e-cards in. Hoping to expand it if people actually use it.

• made a few christmasy changes
• finally got around to putting up neverland's x-mas tree

• We won another award, this time it was the Rainbow Award from our friends at GayAmerica.com

• Moved the QueerWorld Rate box to the Help page to make the home page load faster
• Fixed a few alignment discrepancies with the menus
• Started working on a new Resources section but haven't finished it quite yet

• Added a third column to the layout to space things out better
• Added the Unity Ribbon and a search box under the main menu

• Added our new Message Board, so be sure to try it out and let me know what you think

• Changed the borders around a bit do it doesn't look so boring
• Also re-wrote most of the introduction page so people could get a better idea about who we are and why we're here

• Added The World Wide Clock to the Chat Room page so that anyone can look up what time it is in another country to see if their friends are awake.

• Added another award to the Awards page that we won for Website Design from A Woman's Touch.

• Today I received an official acceptance letter in to the Phenomenal Women Of The Web®, (according to their site, of the 150,000 who have applied, only about 3,000 have been accepted).
• I added little seals to the NeverLanders page, one for everyone who has filled out their profile (except mine, it would be too tacky to give one to myself).
• I changed the stuff under the menu, adding a Phenomenal Women of the Web seal thing.
• I also added some of our newest awards to the Awards page.
• Added a new NeverLand Jigsaw Puzzles page, try them out and tell me what you think
• Moved the site search thing to the Help page
• And last but not least (well sort of kind of), I changed the scroll bar on the right to a pretty blue-green color.

• We won another award! Added it to the Awards page.

• Sappho submitted a poem to add to the NeverLand Collection called True Love's Worth Waiting For. Check it out!
• Added a new thing on the main page where you can subscribe to the NeverLand News, I hope you all sign up for it.
• We have just been added to the QueerWorld.com directory, part of their service is a RateBox to "allow your visitors to add a rating or even a review from your own site!" So snap to it girls, go to Rate this site! and rate it well. lol

• Added a search option under the menu from FreeFind.com
• Changed the old Bravenet link counter to a new one from SiteMeter

• Happy Halloween!
• Party tonight, starting at 8:00pm (EST)
• Added a new section called NeverLanders in the News and also an Awards Page
• Today is the last day for the NeverLand Halloween Website and also the old address.

• Added the official NeverLand Store (hey I don't know about you but my life won't be complete until I get my official NeverLand mug!)

• Added new headers to all of the pages, compliments of flamingtext.com

• Made a new NeverLand Logo, compliments of flamingtext.com

• Made new menus, the other ones weren't customizable enough
• Added several new menu options
• Moved the link for NeverLand's gay.com chat room to a new page called Chat Room

• I created a form so people could submit their own information for The NeverLanders
• I also added a guest book, but don't know if that works yet
• And last but not least I'm trying to get an interactive story script set up so y'all can be creative

• Started working on the new and improved NeverLand web site
