News and Updates - 2002

• After a few very tense moments when some bleep-bleep-bleep working at the company who hosts neverland decided he would be helpful and delete it, I got everything transferred and fixed up. Finished off today with the change-over by giving us a new guest book. The old one was having problems, maybe I will get it to work again, maybe not. But the new one supports pictures so that's pretty cool. A bunch of you have been telling me that you would like to be able to upload pictures of yourselves, your pets, and/or your homes. Post away!
• Added a new poem to the Lesbian Poetry section called For Linda02188 by marcia.
• Registered our new domain name, Hurray! Now all I need is to start moving things over which I am doing now but who knows when the host will pick it up. Will keep you posted.

• Added two new poems to the Lesbian Poetry section. One called Pedal of the Yellow Rose by Tammy and the other one called My Turn by Abbie Hartung
• Also added these poems by Karen Godson: In My Wildest Dreams, Never Again, Intimidation, Tunnel Vision, Irresistible, Keeping It Simple, Don't Mind If I do, Out Of My Mind

• Added a new poem to the Lesbian Poetry section called For Linda02188 by marcia.
• Registered our new domain name, Hurray! Now all I need is to start moving things over which I am doing now but who knows when the host will pick it up. Will keep you posted.

• Added a link to the Gay & Lesbian National Hotline to the Links page.
• Also updated the NeverLand News on the main page to include the Marcus Wayman story. Please take a moment to learn more about it

• Added a link to a Gay & Lesbian Pride Merchandise store called Over The Rainbow Shop to the Links page.

• Another new poems today, this time by Shannon. It's called Unspoken Words and you can find it in the Lesbian Poetry section.

• Added a new poem today by Melinda called Who Am I? to the Lesbian Poetry section.

• Glad to be back home, had a great honeymoon *GBS*
• Added a few new poems from the last week, Color Passion and Real Love both by Dawn Spencer and Battle Scene by Jesse
• Also added a whole bunch of new profiles to the profiles page
• A special congratulation to my wife jaz and my best friend sill, both of which became "legal" this past week. We've all come a long way! *GBS*

• Started making preparations for when jaz and I are on our belated honeymoon. All poetry and profiles uploaded between Nov 28th and December 9th won't be posted until we get back, which will be the 10th of Dec.
• Instead of the usual Santas and X-mas trees that most sites will be decorating with, I though it would be suitably wacky to turn our big baby boxer into NeverLand the x-mas mascot. Tell us what you think of her. She's big, she's strong, and she likes to hump jaz's leg. Must be a lesbian *G*
• Also putting up the new x-mas pictures for our e-cards
• Oh and last but certainly not least, I added a new games section with great games like Santa Balls 2 and more courtesy of Kewlgames.com

• Added two new poems today by Ethereal called Reality and Chakra Spark (Becoming).

• Added a new poem today called The First Time by megan.

• Added a new poem today called Art by Erica Morales.

• Added a new poem today called The Fortress Pool by Sandi.

• Added a two new poem today. One called Yolanda by Smiles, and one called The Quality of Angels by Sandi to the Lesbian Poetry page.

• I decided it would be better to have the poetry section more organized now that it is so huge, so I added a new link to a page called Lesbian Poetry Listed By Author on the Lesbian Poetry page.

• Added two new poems today, one called Little Blue Dancer by a beautiful dreamer, and the other called Sunday Morning by Caron C.

• Hope you all had a great Halloween, we had fun at the party last night. Weren't many there but the important ones were *G*
• Back to our usual look, hope the Halloween theme didn't cause anyone too much undue stress, lol. Time to start planning for x-mas now! Woohoo!

• Added a new poem called Passage by Bobbysox to the Lesbian Poetry section

• Added a link to The Women's Travel Club to the Links page.
• P. S. Got our PC back yesterday, so all is well with the world again.

• Added a new poem today, Bittersweet Tears by tracylyn.

• Two new poems again today, both by Manydreams. One called Will You and the other called Another Day Has Broken.

• Two new poems today, both of them by Bobbysox. The first one is called Pirate and the other called Best Friend.

• Four new poems posted today, I've been a little behind what with a dead PC and all. The first two are by tracylyn, one called To Love Another Woman and the other called My First.... The Second two are by Willemshakespeare, Adrift of the Raven Haired Princess and Mystic Healing. As always they are posted in the Lesbian Poetry section.

• Added a new poem called Sarah by Insanepiper2002 to the Lesbian Poetry section
• My damn computer broke on Thursday evening and it's still getting fixed. If you have submitted a poem or profile, I'm trying to get them up, but I might miss a few until I get our beast back up and running. Keep your fingers crossed for us, and hopefully we'll have it back before sundown tonight (that is if anyone can figure out what's wrong with it in the first place even).

• In celebration of Halloween and our birthday month we are sporting a festive spooky look for the entire month. November 1st we'll go back to normal.

• After visiting a web site called Bryce's Avocation I have decided it is a valuable resource and have added it to the Links page. Be sure to check it out.

• Added two new poems by lilsmurfy called Near or Far We Are Never Apart and also Enchandtress to the Lesbian Poetry section

• Added a new poem by Lisa Miree Kohler to the Lesbian Poetry page called Push You Away

• Added a gay and lesbian news ticker from our friends at Out In America

• Added a new lesbian poem called Her by Nancy Demers

• After working with 5 gay.com monitor's, we have been informed that we will no longer be able to have our chat room with them. No chance.
• I also found a new host that is better than bravenet. It's called outinamerica.com, we will use them as our new chat hosts.

• Due to changes at gay.com, neverland is no longer able to use them as host to our chatroom. This really sucks rocks, but what can you do? The NeverLand chat room is now being hosted by bravenet.com until further notice.

• Much concern about the new rule at gay.com about the new rule that any chatters must be registered. I don't know how that will affect ...Never Never Land... but I guess we will just have to wait and see.
• If we have to stop using gay.com as a host for our chat room we will move to Bravenet as theirs is very similar to gay.com's and does not require registration.

• Added a link to MicLin's Lesbian Greeting Cards on the Links page
• Am starting to get Edition number 2 of the NeverLand News underway, hopefully by Thursday it will be ready

• Finally removed the human click thing that I never used anyway
• A whole bunch of new NeverLanders have been posting their profiles, be sure to check them out on the Profiles page

• Made a few changes to the Links page including adding a link to Amazing Dreams Publishing For Women which is a publishing company that specializes in books for lesbians

• I made an E-Book called "How To Make a Gay.com Chat Room" which I have added a download link to from the Help page

• Removed part of the home page, it was getting too long
• Added a new part on the home page called "News and Updates" which I added a link to the Tinkerbell icon page

• First of all, happy birthday to my brother who is turning 30 today
• I applied to a bunch of lesbian webrings today, already got approved by one. The lesbian webrings will be located on the Links page

• Added a new resources to the resources section, it's actually a link to a different website with an article about realizing you're a lesbian

• Added a new humanclick feature, which is basically live tech support (if I'm around), if not it will let you send an email explaining the problem

• In an effort to speed up the site I made a bunch of changes to make things run faster and smoother
• Fixed some link errors

• Added a link to bookmark this site on the home page

• At the request of NeverLanders tinkerbell has returned to follow your mouse movements

• Added a mini-poll to the homepage

• Took down the old christmas e-cards and put up some new valentines day ones.

• Finalized the switch from javascript menus to ssi
• Added a Recommend-It link so people can tell their friends about our site

• Changed the menu and header/foot format from javascript to SSI

• Updated the main page a bit

• Put up the new Bravnet Message Board, come on gals give it a try!
• Got rid of Blogger...why did I put that up anyway?
• Added a new Women's Resources section full of interesting articles of interest to women
• Changed some of the menu items and reworked the links set-up
• Added a Site Map to the Help page
• Added the Poetry section to the main menu and also added a Poetry Submission Form

• Finally found a way to make tink stay in the bottom corner, so I moved her from the top of the right column to the bottom right corner of the screen
• I'm looking for a better message board, I think it could really take off. If anyone has a suggestion please e-mail me
